Acceptance of Terms

Please read this page carefully. If you do not accept these Terms of Use, please do not use this website or our services.

By visiting, accessing or using Prime India Maid & Home Services, creating an account, submitting a service requirement or hiring a maid/candidate introduced by us, you indicate that you have read, understood and accepted these Terms.

Important: We may revise these Terms and our Privacy Policy from time to time. The revised version becomes applicable when published on the website. You should review this page periodically.
Placement Fee One month of the selected maid/candidate's salary, plus 18% GST.
6-Month Replacement Period Calculated from the joining date of the first placed maid/candidate.
Maximum 3 Replacements Subject to the eligibility conditions described below.
Term 01

Placement / Recruitment Charges

Our placement charge for a maid/candidate is equal to one month of the maid/candidate's agreed salary. GST at 18% will be charged in addition to the placement fee.

Terms 02–03

Replacement Period and Non-Refundability

The replacement period is 6 months from the joining date of the first maid/candidate, with a maximum of 3 replacements during that period, subject to these Terms.

If the customer chooses to cancel the placement arrangement during the replacement period, the recruitment / service charges paid to Prime India are non-refundable.

Cancelling the contract for any reason during the replacement period does not create a right to a cash refund of the placement/service fee.
Term 04

Maid / Candidate Salary

Amounts paid to Prime India are recruitment / service charges for finding and coordinating a maid/candidate. The maid/candidate's salary begins from the day the person starts working and must be paid monthly directly to the maid/candidate, unless a different written arrangement has been confirmed.

Terms 05–06

Hiring Notification and Invoice Payment

The customer must notify Prime India immediately after agreeing to hire a candidate introduced by us.

An invoice will be issued when employment / placement begins. The placement fee is payable immediately and no later than the candidate's joining date.

Term 07

Confidentiality of Candidate Introductions

Candidate introductions made by Prime India are confidential. If a customer introduces a Prime India candidate to another person or household and that third party hires the candidate on a full-time or part-time basis, the customer agrees that the applicable placement charges remain payable to Prime India.

Term 08

Customer Responsibility for Candidate Suitability

Prime India will make reasonable efforts to introduce suitable candidates, but the customer is responsible for satisfying themselves about a candidate's suitability before hiring.

If desired, the customer may arrange a medical examination before hiring. Prime India may assist with coordination where reasonably possible.

Term 09

Job Description and Agreed Salary

Before placement, the customer must provide a clear job description, including the work expected from the maid/candidate and the salary offered.

The customer must not materially expand the agreed work or reduce the agreed salary after placement. If the maid/candidate leaves because the customer required materially different work or reduced the agreed salary, Prime India will not be required to provide a replacement or refund the placement charges.

Term 10

Notice Before Releasing a Maid and Replacement Conditions

If a customer is dissatisfied with the maid/candidate, the customer should provide 15 days' notice before releasing the person so that Prime India can attempt to arrange a replacement.

  • The replacement candidate cannot be offered a lower salary than the first maid/candidate.
  • The original job description and required work cannot be materially changed for the replacement.
  • Before a replacement is sent, all salary dues of the previous maid/candidate must be cleared.
  • If previous salary dues remain unpaid, Prime India may withhold replacement service.
Term 11

Temporary Absence Due to Illness or Family Emergency

If the maid/candidate is temporarily absent because of illness or a family emergency and confirms an intention to return after becoming fit or available, an immediate replacement will not ordinarily be provided.

If the maid/candidate does not return within 10 days, the customer may request a replacement.

Term 12

Police Verification and Criminal Conduct

We strongly recommend that customers complete an appropriate police verification of the maid/candidate. This can help identify known criminal-history information where available.

Prime India cannot guarantee a person's future conduct and will not be responsible for independent civil or criminal acts committed by a candidate after placement, subject always to liability that cannot legally be excluded.

Term 13

Changes in Market Salary Expectations

Maid/candidate salary expectations may change with market conditions. For a replacement, it may not always be possible to find a suitable candidate at exactly the same salary as the previous candidate.

Prime India will make reasonable efforts to locate a candidate within the previous salary range, but the customer may need to revise the salary budget according to current market rates. A customer's unwillingness to adjust the salary budget does not create a refund entitlement.

Terms 14 & 18

Advance Salary, Money or Goods Given to Domestic Help

Any decision to give advance salary, loans, cash, goods or other benefits to a maid/candidate is made by the customer at the customer's own discretion and risk.

If the candidate later leaves or fails to return an advance or goods, Prime India is not responsible for recovering or refunding those amounts or items.

Term 15

Expected Replacement Time and Credit Note

If all applicable invoices have been settled and the candidate resigns during the eligible replacement period, Prime India will provide a free replacement in accordance with these Terms.

Replacement normally takes approximately 15 days, but actual timing may vary depending on candidate availability.

If Prime India is unable to provide a replacement within 15 days and the customer chooses to discontinue the contract, a credit note may be issued for the amount paid to Prime India, for use against eligible Prime India services in the future, instead of a cash refund.

Term 16

Checks of Bags and Personal Belongings

Customers are responsible for establishing reasonable household security procedures. Where the customer chooses to inspect bags, purses or other belongings carried by a maid/candidate when entering or leaving the premises, such checks should be conducted consistently with applicable law, dignity, privacy and the agreed household rules.

Term 17

Respectful Treatment and Agreed Working Conditions

A maid/candidate must not be tortured, threatened, abused, harassed or harmed mentally or physically. The customer must not materially increase the agreed work or reduce the salary from what was discussed during the interview.

If the maid/candidate leaves because of abuse, unsafe treatment, materially increased duties or salary reduction by the customer, Prime India will not be required to provide a replacement or refund the placement charges.

Term 19

Official Payment Details

Payments must be made only in favour of the official bank account / payment method communicated by Prime India Maid & Home Services through authorised channels.

Before publishing: replace the legal entity name at the top of this file with your exact registered company / proprietorship name and publish only verified payment details.
Term 20

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to mandatory consumer rights and any jurisdiction that cannot legally be excluded, disputes arising from the placement or service arrangement will be subject to the competent courts at [Jaipur, Rajasthan].
